We are passionate about sporting excellence which is why we are committed to producing excellent scoring systems that enhance the experience of the sporting community.
Proto Electronics is owned and run by husband and wife team, Chantal and Gary Catlin. Based on the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland, Chantal and Gary are sports enthusiasts, keeping fit through regular exercise and training. They have four adult children who have played a range of sports, including netball, hockey, tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, rugby, cricket and water polo.
Their passion for sport and sporting excellence, is carried through to their electronic scoreboard manufacturing processes.
Gary, an electrical engineer with 35+ years in the industry, is responsible for Proto’s electronic and software design and development and heads up production. Chantal oversees the general running of the business, managing sales and marketing.
Proto has appointed service agents at key centres around NZ to offer strong after sales service and support. In addition, Gary and Chantal regularly travel around the country to visit new and existing customers.
